Since 2018, I have been a researcher within the Software and Systems Engineering (SSE) group at the Centre for Informatics and Systems of the University of Coimbra (CISUC-UC).

2025/12/06: Matheus Torquato's co-authored paper "S-iNAS: A Performance-Centric SRN Modeling and Analysis of Time and Event Based Scaling Strategies in Ceph-Based Industrial Network-Attached Storage" with Damsub Lim, Tuan Anh Nguyen, Jueying Li, Eunmi Choi, Dugki Min, Ruben Machucho Cadena, Bruno Nogueira, Ermeson Andrade, Gustavo Callou, Mario Di Mauro, Francisco Airton Silva and Paulo Maciel has been accepted for Springer Journal of Network and Systems Management.
2025/09/01: Our paper entitled "Exploratory Performance Evaluation of VM Migration as MQTT Moving Target Defense" was accepted for the 21st International Conference on Network and Service Management (CNSM).
2025/03/19: Our paper entitled "Migração Automatizada de VMs na Defesa de Brokers MQTT Contra Memory Denial of Service" was accepted for the Main Track of Brazilian Symposium on Computer Networks and Distributed Systems (SBRC).
2025/01/01: Matheus is now a post-doc researcher within the scope of IConIOT project (https://iconiot.ic.unicamp.br/pesquisadores-pos-doutorado/)
